Tree Nursery
Garry and our volunteers set up the tree nursery in the summer of 2021. The creation of temporary forest tree nurseries was very common practice in woodland management, especially in Central Europe.
The tree nursery offers us a wealth of opportunities.

Direct Seeding
We can establish young trees by direct seeding from high-quality trees in our woodland. This guarantees the best possible adaptation of the seedling to local conditions.

Natural Regeneration
The nursery encourages natural regeneration. Young trees are transplanted to relevant areas of Dronley Community Woodland once they reach 2 or 3 years old.
